"Emily" ,who was bred by Susan Ross & Angela Stein is a superb bitch with beautiful breed type, super sound and a wonderful dark blue crisp coat. She finished with back to back 5 point majors and went on to be a group winner. She is the dam of Ch.Tolkien Witch King ROM, who is a Register of Merit sire and a multiple group and specialty winner and Ch.Tolkien Day Star who was WB/BOS at the 2002 New England OES Specialty. She was shown as a Veteran and took BOS at the Twin Colonies OES Specialty, Greater Pittsburgh OES Specialty and the New England OES Specialty. She also went BOS In Veteran Sweeps and Award of Merit at the OESCA 2000 National and Best in Veteran Sweeps at the 2001 OESCA National.

Besides being a star in the ring she even managed to make the front page, above the fold, of The Philadelphia Inquirer on May 12th, 1998. In the middle of a flood, she needed a C-section. When we returned from the vet with the puppies, there were several photographers taking pictures of the flood. We lost our beautiful Emily in March 3, 2004 at almost 14 years of age. We will never forget her and she lives on through her beautiful children and grandchildren.
